Avengers Infinity War set photo reveals SHOCKING new Iron Man plot point?

AVENGERS INFINITY WAR new set photo teases a plot point for Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man. Warning potential spoilers.

The 52-year-old star has been spotted shooting the third Avengers movie with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in Atlanta, Georgia.
The two actors were joined by Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk) and Benedict Wong (Wong), on the war-torn New York set.
Now the beady eyed among fans will have noticed something different about Tony Stark’s suit – his Arc reactor is back.
Iron Man hasn’t had the piece in his chest since the end of Iron Man 3, when Stark was able to remove it – so he threw it in the Pacific Ocean.

The Arc reactor had been keeping some shrapnel from entering his heart since 2008’s Iron Man.
The last time the superhero appeared was in last year’s Captain America: Civil War, which saw him able power his Iron Man suit without it.
However the latest pictures of Iron Man, which may be a stunt double standing in for Downey Jr, show that it’s back in his chest for some reason.
IGN have pointed out some of the fan theories including the idea that Thanos uses Doctor Strange’s Time Stone to change the past ensuring that Stark was injured.
While another theory suggests he’ll get hurt in Spider-Man: Homecoming and need a new Arc reactor.

It’s even possible that it’s not an Arc reactor at all, but the final Infinity Stone, the Space Stone.

Avengers: Infinity War is released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018
