Johnny Depp has apologized for his joke about assassinating President Trump. In a statement he released on Friday, he said it was a bad joke and that he didn't mean any harm by it. Adding that the joke he told
Thursday to the Glastonbury Festival crowd was in poor taste. The statement partially read:

“It did not come out as intended, and I intended no malice". "I was only trying to amuse, not to harm anyone.” Depp had joked, "When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?"
