Spider-Man: Homecoming FIRST reactions: Has the Web Slinger impressed Marvel fans?

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING first reactions are in for the Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr-led Marvel movie.

The iconic superhero has certainly had a quick turn around with three actors and seven movies in 15 years.
In a couple of weeks Holland will be leading his first solo movie, taking place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However some lucky critics have already had the opportunity to see Spider-Man: Homecoming and they have give some very positive reactions.
Speaking out on Twitter, some even called it their favourite movie of the genre.

One said: “#SpiderManHomecoming is my favourite Marvel movie. Full stop. Spidey is home at Marvel. Best action in ANY Spidey. A non-stop thrill. LOVE.”
Another went further: “Spider-Man: Homecoming...My new favourite superhero movie of all time.”
One added: “#SpiderManHomecoming is SO MUCH FUN. The action is BADASS. Tom Holland is THE BEST Peter Parker hands down. I'm pumped after seeing it… the funniest movie I've seen ALL YEAR.”
While another tweeted: “Spider-Man: Homecoming is a blast. It has an innocence that differentiates it from the other MCU movies but plenty of fun & spectacle too.”

Other critics highlighted it as the best Spider-Man movie since the first two Tobey Maguire films.

One tweeted: “Seriously, #SpiderManHomecoming is a blast. The best Spidey movie since 2004 and the one comic purists have always wanted!
However, one reviewer wasn’t quite as positive as the rest, saying: “#SpiderManHomecoming is the third best Spider-Man movie. The cast is great, the tone is affable, the drama is... a little thin, honestly.”

Spider-Man: Homecoming is released in UK cinemas on July 5, 2017.
